THE HV8001 - HAND CONTROL FOR CHAIRS ’96
TO JUNE ’98
1. Raise chair
into the lift position.
2. Reveal the PC board on the underside of
the chair.
3. Remove the PC board with a staple puller.
4. Remove old wire connections from the PC
board one at a time - plug in new wire
connections as you remove old ones.
There are 4
connections that you'll see while facing the
back of the chair:
1. Heat connector
2. M-1 Connector - Top Left Vibrator
3. M-2 Connector - Top Right Vibrator
4. M-3 Connector - Lower Middle Vibrator
Phase
One - Heating Connection
While facing the back of the chair - the
connection for the heating unit is a
three-prong connection, with the wire coming
from the front of the lower lumbar area.
Phase
Two - M-1 Connection
While facing the back of the chair - the M-1
connection wire is on the left side of the
inner, lower back.
Phase
Three - M-2 Connection
While facing the back of the chair - the M-2
connection wire is on the right side of the
inner, lower back.
Phase
Four - M-3 Connection
While facing the back of the chair - the M-3
connection wire is in the upper, middle
back.
5. When all the
connections are made - plug the system in
and test all parts of the DHV unit before
leaving the customer’s home.

uniformity our show chair will be made that
way and all other chairs. No other functions
or timing has changes.

M1- Lower Back
M2- Seat Area
We will use
this current hand wand for replacements of
older style HV8001. Please note to
technicians to watch hook ups.
